Comboyne Public School has made an outstanding and ongoing commitment to
provide wide-ranging performance opportunities for its students. Its success in
performing arts has promoted the concept of excellence in public education and
demonstrated the competence and commitment of a small rural school.
The school presents items in the district music and drama festivals, the Small
Schools' Concert, the Taree Eisteddfod and the NSW Schools' Instrumental
Festival at the Sydney Opera House. Students also represent the school in Public
Speaking at school, district and North Coast levels. Two school concerts are
produced each year and are very well supported by the school community, who
appreciate the standard of performance and the quality of items presented.
